  • Cleaning Newbie

Well seeing as this is my first car I have needed to clean a car apart from when I was a kid with a massive sponge and fairy liquid with my dads car.

I want to clean my car but dont know what products to use, I am anything but an OCD type person but it is a bit dirty now and would benefit from a clean, but dont know where to start.

Any tips? Also any products I can use to give the car a bit of extra sparkle when I do a nice photoshoot with it?

Prediction - tips will flood in today, all about two buckets, a mit and microfibre towels.

I'll leave this one to Clive, Andy ad the other one. I'm sure there's a 100 threads a day like this over on detailing world.

You could check that site out Phil ? http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/

                  HOWEVER:
A good starting point is a Pressure washer, Snow Foam lance and a good Snow Foam
IMO an absolute must to keep the car as new

                      In My Opinion.

When ever I run across one of these acronym I use the urban dictionary http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=imo very helpful and funny.

Please, Please, Please don't use a sponge!!!!!

Lambswool mitt, ph neutral soap and the 2 bucket method.

When I ordered my car I gave them strict instructions not to touch it, not even to take the delivery stickers off lol
As a result, nearly 8 months later and using the above method I have a swirl and scratch free car :star:
