  • First time...

Well spent three hours today on cleaning my car inside and out.

It's my first time with the two bucket method and using clay. Have to admit I am happy with the results, very satisfying indeed.

Just got to get rid of the swirls completely on the bonnet now.

    What you think?

Very nice, how easy was the clay to use?

Really easy, the AutoGlym stuff I used was difficult to work at first and the spray the kit came with smells really sweet, cant get it off my hands lol

Make sure you roll the clay around in your hands for a minute to warm it up, then it bends and molds easier.

Did you need to use clay on a 63 plate?

I had a tiny scratch from the pesky hand washers I took it to other week

Yep. Clay bar helps remove all the tiny dirt particles stuck to the car and gives the bodywork a super smooth feel.

Try this, go outside and run your hand over the bonnet. Hear that subtle rasping noise, that is the tiny particles I mentioned. Now try the same trick after you had a go with a Clay Bar and you'll get no noise at all because the surface is now super clean.
