SWMBOS shopping chariot

Well my car is back from bodywork garage, all fixed but can't touch it cleaning wise for a few weeks. To scratch the usual detailing itch (as soon as I get up) and not to waste a day not raining, SWMBOS shopping chariot got some attention.

Used Sonax Hybrid NPT today and it is so easy to apply.

Citrus pre wash, 2BM with BTBM, dried with Mammoth, polished with M205, applied NPT then a coating of Sonax BSD.

Very impressed with ease of use and the shine. Just want it to rain now to see the beading.

All she says is umm nice. She can't even tell the difference between HDTV and non HDTV which really winds me up when it's as obvious a difference as night and day so I don't expect too much of a reaction towards her car 😆

Hey Andy

I bought some of your suggested spray on soaky stuff and I am not inpressed. Maybe I am doing something wrong. I diluted it as recommended 1:9, sprayed, waited, resprayed, rewaited and then power jetted with little benefit.
What could I be doing wrong?

Oh no, I bought that too but haven't had a chance to use it yet.... I also bought a hand sprayer to use it with.... Will be interested to hear if it's down to the difference betweeen our cars (not being super glossy or amazingly polished) and Andy's.....

I didn't get that one, I bought a smaller 1.5l Hozelock one from Amazon..... Gonna wait to ensure I know how to use it now before I give it a whirl :confused:

Have you unscrewed the orange "rose" attachment off the lance. It wont work with the orange attachment "attached".

Now you have me confused! Orange rose in place but spraying OK!

I took that to mean the rose was spraying the mixture too finely ??? I'm confused I think :confused:
