e-hdi 90 dsytleall whitewith ashera's and lonely citroen graphic's and club decals sigpic NCC-1701-C THE ENTERPRISE being rehomed
Soon to have a Prestige 130 SS in arctic steel metallic with emerald mettalic roof and grey aphrodite wheels
I actually cleaned (and "detailed") my car last night just after the winds stopped. (went dark midway :-P)
This morning it looks Amazing! I actually have a mirror reflection on all panels! Never had this on my Gloss DS3. Reflection is almost as good as I get from metalic paint finishes:-D
May have to take some pics...
(Can't post them..?)
Well my mum hasn't been too good lately so decided to cancel everything I had planned today and offered to treat her car to a good seeing to.
As it was when I picked it up from her house at 10am this morning
Wheels sprayed with Wonder Wheels Hotwheels
5 minutes later
Next stages were photographed but god knows where pictures have now gone (phone did freeze and had to be reset)
Car pre soaked with Surfex HD
Rinsed off
Washed 2BM with Muc Off Uber Shampoo
De-tarred with Tardis
Rinsed
Clay mitted with Farecla G3 Detox Clay Mitt
Washed again
Dried
Polished with SRP
Edit...
Found them now
Washed
Tardis working
Testing paintwork prior to clay mitting
Using G3 mitt
Nearly forgot inside before and afters. Used Nilfisk 20t vac (not wet today)
Then decided to use this weeks freebie from Farecla
This applicator is really impressive
This did whole of bonnet (granted it's a small bonnet)
Went on really well
Did whole car, hardly used any at all
Buffed off with Eurow Double Density 'Shag' Towel then applied Sonax BSD onto all glass and paintwork. AS Highstyle on tyres and plastic trim to leave this:
Needless to say, my mum was very happy when I returned it to her.

Cheers pal, it was in a bit of a state but prefer them like that as it makes the end result much better

yea i know what you mean mate. am going to do girlfriends little clio in the next 4 weeks once i get my da polisher. its a 02 plate with 20000+ miles on the clock and only ever polished once. the paint feels like sandpaper and is covered in swirls so it will be nice to see the difference once its done. i will be taking lots of before and after photos
And that's just on the bodywork Chris. Also take into account a FULL days detail would also include wheels, tyres, arches, door shuts, glass, plastics, exhaust tip(s) and interior (if time permits).
