While we are on the subject of the sonax npt mate once the car has been fully decontaminated and machine polished. In what order would i do npt followed by bsd ? Any wax in between ?

Hi pal. After the machine polish, you could apply a glaze for extra shine or if not go straight to the NPT. BSD then on top of the NPT. No wax as the NPT is a hybrid sealant so therefore takes the place of the wax.

All you then need to do to maintain it moving forward is a 2bm wash then a quick spray of BSD. The NPT is good for 6 months protection so will see you easily into early Autumn.

I did think it would be in that order mate but thought i would ask to be 100% sure. As i will be using the megs microfiber system would i skip the finishing wax and go right for the npt then bds

Is that Meguiars Ultimate compound any good to apply by hand? Or best get some heads to fit on a drill?
Chinese are doing a full set of cleaning heads for a tenner?

I used it on the wheels mate by hand and it does take a bit of work to break down the polish. I would hate to attempt a full car by hand with it

As Mark quite rightly says it does take a bit of work by hand. I haven't seen the Chinese drill heads you have mentioned Chris but presume they look a bit like this set up from Meguiars?

^ No- they are just the pads- selection of 5- you put in the end of a rotary drill. Will link later today
Ive only got one panel to do- a bonnet, which i got used to do some work on, and has a few scratches, but more lots of scuff marks where its been stored and rubbed against stuff
