  • Marks left by dash stickers....

Anyone got any fixes for this?

    I suspect a new dash/stickers to cover.

And this is why we will not sell dash stickers when we have our cutter!

I was gonna say one of the plastic polishes, can't remember the name but it was recommended on here when folks realised they'd scratched the plastic on the speedo dials etc....

The sticker does not scratch in itself. It was whoever cleaned the dash after taking the sticker off that did that. A plastic polish might reduce the scratches, or try applying a glaze for the exterior paint to fill the scratches then wax it?

Thing is that the plastic is much softer than paint. That is why I would say plastic polish. It is very mild in comparison but as long as you are careful machine polish might work.

Marks left after removing them. And they are the bitch to get the sticky marks off. My Dash has had stickers on it before many times and it has never marked. These had been in place for about 2 years though.

Maybe Liam was a bit more vigorous than I was when he was trying to get sticky crap off.

I'll take part of the blame for the scratched dash, quick detailer and a microfibre is apparently a no-go on the piano-black.

It looks as though the dash stickers may have faded the paint/laquer on the dash though =/
