Leather Seats

Hi all,

Does anyone have any tips and/or products that's best used on the leather seats to keep them from going all shiney. After 4 months I'm starting to notice a different between the drivers and passenger seats.

Hi James,

To bring your seats back to life you want a leather cleanser and then a leather conditioner.

Start by using the cleanser and a soft brush to clean the leather. Next massage the leather conditioner into the leather. We tend to use a microfiber applicator for this stage. These are nice and soft for the leather.

Further to the posts above I've been using Autoglym Leather balm on mine to maintain the appearance, I apply it twice a year and am v impressed with it - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_255236
When you apply it the seats go almost shiny looking, allow it to soak in a little, buff with a clean MF cloth and then I normally leave it 24hrs or so and they return to the matt grey colour

Has anyone used the AutoFinesse stuff? Keen to see how it looks and lasts. I've heard people talking about the conditioner creating a layer upon which grime builds up (thus making it go shiny again)... has anyone experienced this with any of the mentioned products? Love AutoFinesse's range so hoping that'll be the one to go for.

Same here, I have the two tone black and off white seats and I noticed some slight blue colouring (probably from jeans), cleaned and then balmed.
