4 weeks!!

Had the black dsport hdi for about 4 weeks and the amount of stone chips appearing is unbelievable!
Maybe because it's black I'm noticing them more but I'm absolutely gutted, oh and just to top it off a 3cm wide dent has appeared on the roof! Hope it's not a bad luck car haha!
Also anyone noticed that the paint is extremely thin?

Try having a look at the front bumper below the DRL where there is a flat surface....!

I've heard that on the black cars the paint is sometimes very thin.

The trouble with stone chips is once you get one, you notice them all the time! I have a few at the front and it upsets me every time I wash the car

Same here! Have some t cut chip remover and some black citroen paint but not used either yet!!

It's not just the black ! All the paint is silly thin !

I find the best way to avoid stone chips is to keep a big distance from the car in front. Am not saying you don't mate but have found this works.

Ive picked up about 5 stone chips in 8 months and they have been with idiots overtaking and pulling back in in front of me to close.

Yes the paint is thin on the black ds's mines measures 60um with the paint thickness gauge 😞
