  • Demon Snowfoam - WITHOUT manual labour ??

I KNOW the real answer is "you have to use a brush/mitt to work the soap around",
But, what result do you get if you just snow-wait-rinse???
    ANY good.....rubbish....??
I'm talking quick wash between real washes-type-thing.
Does the foam 'clean' any dirt off of it's own accord or just sits ON the dirt
and you'd just be rinsing the foam back off the top???

Sorry, couldn't find the "Lazy/Cheapskate Section to post this" ?!?

Firstly never use the word brush when talking about paintwork!!!😞

Secondly it all depends on the pressure washer you are using to remove the remnants of foam after its done its cleaning job. I will post up something later if i can find it in my archives showing the effects of said wash technique.

If you're after a cheaper and easier option then you should look into using a pre wash with a garden pressure sprayer. It doesn't create the mess snow foaming does but still does the same job, and a garden sprayer is much cheaper than a foam lance. See rabid's comparison here - http://www.ds3club.co.uk/showthread....m-vs-Pre-rinse.

        Pics....??
        Vids........??
Sifted thru You-Toob, and plenty snow-foam vids but not ONE shows a
DIRTY CAR which is just SNOWed and RINSED.
Loads show clean cars being cleaned,
Loads don't get close enough to actually SHOW the car,
And of course most giving a proper mitt-assist in between
(Sorry, didn't mean to say brush before )

Look in that link, Rabid has posted pics of before and after with both snow foaming and pre rinse.

            mmmmm.....
They both do something at least!!
I don't enjoy washing cars like i used to, but, these both
            look a bit more 'fun'.......
            ......might get little of each.......
            ..might do my own pics?!?!?!
            ( note-to-self = remember not to leave car 'half-and-half'
That IS the sort of thing i'd do)
Sorry, are the pre-cleaners (Rapid Shifter etc) ok on painted wheels??
(I assume the snow is, cos they obviously spray the entire car)

Just done this myself, this morning. Not a lot of foam, but after 5 mins washed off with garden hose (We have high pressure round here) and it actually foamed up and disappeared- along with all the dirt :-)
