I Kindly received these 3 bottles of Power Maxed products to review from Wayne at PM:
Alloy wheel cleaner, TFR and shampoo with wax.
I have deliberately not cleaned my car for a week or so as I knew Wayne would be sending the bottles and I wanted to give the products a good test.
Car was very dirty, bug ridden and the alloys were extremely filthy and full of brake dust.
In preparation to clean the alloys, I squirted about 20ml of the shampoo into a bucket
and filled with water
to allow a large Wheel Woolie and a wool wash mitt to soak. Very foamy from the small amount of shampoo added.
Decided to use a foaming sprayhead for the alloy wheel cleaner.
Sprayed onto the front and inside of a dry alloy and left to dwell. Then used the Wheel Woolie from the shampoo bucket to get to the inside of the alloy and the wool wash mitt for the face of the alloy to produce dirt coming off like this:
Rinsed with a hose with a fire nozzle attached to leave an extremely clean alloy on the front and on the inside.

Now to use the TFR.
Diluted 150ml of the TFR
Into 1.5L of water
Sprayed with a pressure sprayer onto dirty bodywork
Left to work then pressure rinsed off with Nilfisk pressure washer. These show how effective the TFR has been. Bugs now long gone
Time to wash the car now. 2BM with grit guards and Carpro Merino wool wash mitt. Same amount of shampoo as before, filled half with water from the hose then the rest foamed up with the Nilfisk.
Onto bodywork now and initial reaction is that it makes the mitt glide really easily
Rinsed to leave
Car dried with Wooly Mammoth and tyres dressed with Power Maxed Tyre Dressing
Overall I would place the products very highly. The shampoo impressed me the most leaving a finish which after being dried looked like it had been sprayed with a quick detailer spray. The alloy wheel cleaner was also impressive on the manky alloys. Extremely effective and cleaned them up in no time with hardly any effort. The TFR was impressive, leaving the bodywork almost clean but importantly made the 2BM much safer by removing a lot of the dirt. The bugs on the front end didn't stand a chance.
I decided to try the tyre dressing a second time after being slightly disappointed the first time it was used. Hopefully will be better this time around. Have already spoken with Wayne regarding PM moving forward with a tyre dressing and what the consumer wants and expects.
3 great products tested today Wayne. The after pictures certainly don't lie.
