A Range Rover Sport arrived today from my mate Bob.
First thing's first, snowfoam:

Alloys next, first cleaned with the impressive Power Maxed Alloy Wheel Cleaner

Then sprayed with Bilt Hamber Korrosol

Agitated with Wheel Woolie and Daytona Speedmaster

Autosmart Tardis working on a stubborn tar patch on the inside of one of the alloys

BiltHamber SurfexHD with stiff brush used on tyres

Lots of grime from the tyres

Autosmart G101 and ValetPro brush used on panel gaps, petrol filler cap, roof aerial and window rubbers

Indicator before

Indicator after

All rinsed then BH Korrosol applied to bodywork

Rinsed again then Farecla G3 Detox Clay Mitt and Farecla G3 Detox Shampoo applied to bodywork

Rinsed again then a 2BM wash with Sonax Deep Gloss Shampoo and a CarPro Merino Wool Mitt

Final rinse to leave this

Started raining so brought half into the garage to dry with a Wooly Mammoth

Bonnet fully dried then taped up with the blue 3M

Using this Wolf's Chemicals Carnauba Glaze with a black finishing pad

Buffed off then Dodo Supernatural Hybrid Sealant applied with a G3 wax applicator

Buffed off to leave this

Reversed it in now and again taped up. The whole of the car had no swirls whatsoever which is a credit to Bob apart from on the boot lid just above the RANGE ROVER letters. LED spots in garage show swirls up well

Used Megs 105 with a DA

A good result

Tape off now to show 50/50

Rest of bootlid finished

And drove outside the garage now to get inside the car (still raining) to feed the leather and dress all plastics and surfaces.
Leather before

Leather 50/50

Leather after

This gel is brilliant

Front seat armrest before

Front seat armrest after

Rest of interior vacuumed with Nilfisk and dressed with PERL and an Autosmart air freshner added

Exterior trim dressed with AutoFinesse Revive

50/50 with AF Revive

SNH on huge roof

Tyres dressed with FinnishKare Tyre Dressing

A few jobs left to do tomorrow, alloys to be sealed with Planet Polish Wheel Seal and Shine, all glass to be coated and under bonnet to be dressed. Here's the end result from todays 10 and a half hours.

Yet another rain shower produces this beading on the bonnet

And on the rear boot spoiler

Thanks for reading
Andy
