  • Scratched dash

    Hiya,
What is the best product for getting scratches out of the Black dash?
I've only gone and scratched mine and it looks bloody awful. It's more of an abrasion mark than a single scratch. Is the dash a basic plastic or an acrylic. Does anybody know?

    Cheers in advance. Mickey

I got a wax "lipstick" free with polish and it fills dash scratches very well indeed.

Thanks Jimbob. I was wondering if something like G3 liquid compound would be any good, on a very wet clothe?

If you want professional advice on compounds I'm sure Andy will be along soon. If you search there have also been a few threads on this subject.

        Good luck

For an off the shelf product this is very good.

I was sent it for review by G3 and used it yesterday to great effect on a scratch on the RR Sport detail I did.

          Before

          After

Would have no hesitation at all in recommending it for the dash

I used the smallest amount imaginable Mark. Probably a small finger nail sized drop onto a dry mf. To be honest, it is the first time it has actually worked for me😉

Maybe worth another go pal. Owner of the RRS didn't even know he had a scratch until I showed him the picture. Even then, when I showed him where it was, he still couldn't see anything. Scratch gone. Unbelievable but true😊
