  • service contract

just had a letter from citreon, saying i have a service contract, it's a contract type 1 ( whatever that means) covers upto 35,000mls. or 2017. includes brake
fluid, doe's this mean all future servicing will be covered upto the date, and can i take it to any dealership.?

^ What it mean is that you have the plan that covers the cost of the standard services for the car including a brake fluid change. You will able to take advantage at any Citroen repairer.

Remember that the plan does NOT cover extras such as wipers, brake pads, etc.

My service card (Plastic Credit Card style) actually came yesterday with a letter stating the same - ending at 35,000 miles or when the car is 3 years old etc.

I've had my first free service, but this Card arrived a year and one month after I bought the car, which seems an odd bit of admin when surely nearer the purchase date would be appropriate?

        You would have thought so!

To be honest with everybody don't panic about the card, any dealer check check to see if you DS3 is listed with the Service Plan.

True for me, my dealer knew everything about the car as soon as I walked in and gave them my registration.

My second card appeared (for the same car) one year after I bought it
