Most likely they want to check the car over first with PDI to make sure everything is sweet BEFORE letting you know about it, quite common really.

Oli my mum has s-max titanium x sport in white 61 plate and its already had new gearbox and rear trailing arms oh and the panoramic roof leaks thats without thepower issues and other problems, Also bigfeet im not too miffed cant be worse then ford they had s-maxon forcout and left it unlocked haha, and icfrule I was tempted to be like citroen advert and see whay it tastes like... im hoping dreams haha

Touch wood, I have never had any issue with my S-Max - I have had it since new, had it for just over 4 years now, and it has 120k on the clock and the only out of service item I have replaced is the battery. I remember the car arrived roughly within a week of the their estimation. just shows inconsistent car manufacturers are in their service.
