Type of diesel should i use

I have only ever used regular diesel for my dstyle HDI ds3 but is it possible to use shell vpower diesel or should I stay with what I usually use?

Of course you can put v power nitro diesel in your car. Its the same basic diesel with an additive that is meant to keep your engine and turbo clean.

I use v power diesel in my Lancer I noticed a tone of diffrence after about 2full tanks.. exhaust note changed engine felt smoother and more responsive and was returning same 500miles to a full tank what was £73

There were some posts on here that suggested that your ecu needs 5-6 fills of the same fuel to completely get used to the new fuel, not sure if that's true but I've been using VPower Nitro for a fair few months now, if I was doing 500 miles a week like I used to I wouldn't buy it as I don't think it gives you a noticeable difference for the large difference in price/litre.

That said with 2 fills a month I'm not going to switch back again to normal diesel.
