  • Looking to purchase my first DS

    Good evening all.

Just about to test drive my first DS and I am really after advice on all the different models. I need low running costs so I guess the sport is out but is the dstyle + worth the extra over the standard dstyle.

Rear parking sensors, front arm rest, folding power mirrors and electrochrome interior mirror; extras for the + over the standard DStyle. Well worth it imo.

BUT....no cup holder, as the arm rest is in its place!

Cheers for the advice. What sort of discount can I expect on a new one over a nearly new. I didn't realise how much choice you get with colours and specs.

I do a lot of miles so comfort is worth it. To be honest I get used to the armrest as most of my previous motors have had them but my present one doesn't.

Liking that. Looking forward to haggling with the stealers over the weekend. Could be some good deals on the horizon with dealers wanting to shift stock before sept reg comes out.

It can get quite confusing with the different specs and packs!

Thanks guys. I want the + pack with the elec mirrors and parking sensors. I like the 17" alloys on the sport but I think they come with the dstyle +. I also want the Bluetooth USB box. But is it worth the £200 for the hifi upgrade. What's the difference.

I got a new Style+ at the end of March, and I think it's well worth getting the + part to the car if you can afford.

For not too much more money you get quite a few nice extras, and it does come with the 17" Bellone alloys, which are really nice.

Obviously you get the USB connection in the car as standard, and I'm not 100% sure exactly what the hifi upgrade gets you, apart from an additional speaker in the centre of where the dashboard meets the windscreen.

The hifi upgrade gets a subwoofer built in boot so I am told. I have it in my car and the sound is great.

If you can afford the + get it, otherwise you'll regret it afterwards
