Hifi upgrade

Is the optional hifi upgrade worth the £200 extra. Has anyone got it and what does it consist of.

Hi, yes it is worth it IMO. You get a small subwoofer in the boot plus boosted sound etc and extra speaker.

Great upgrade but bear in mind most stock won't have it so it would be a factory order.

Yes and no....Yes you get a small sub in the boot and it does it's job and usb for ya iplod or phone and hands free blue tooth but on the no side you still need to spend about £200 on replacement door and rear 1/4 speakers to make it sound half decent........

As a music lover and 'audiophile' guy, my experience tells me that the Hi-Fi upgrade is very good value.

i got it in my DS3 as a "standard" quite perk and does the job, the vibrations in the car when its loud are good. Worth a buy, but I got mine free

To remind everyone that if you get the Hifi upgrade then NOT to run the speakers at high volumes for a few day to allow the speakers to 'bed-in' a bit first.

Where is the subwoofer lacated in the boot?

I am pretty sure the hifi system is standard on Dsport's?

Drivers side. Remove the plastic inspection panel you will then see it behind there.
