not a good noise

Well I have had my car for a week a d it's done 600miles fault free loved every mile and a few miles were very spirited driving across some roads in Brecon... But last night started my car been sat from mid day till 11pm.. and it sounded like the top end had no oil in it only for about 2seconds... So I am worried... But this morning started no noises ... I am due to ave work at 7pm and will have my phone camera on record as I start the car just incase the noise is there for you guys...

Car is on a 60plate 1.6thp on 20800miles ish.. you guys have any ideas??

You may get a little noise on start up, whilst oil circulates to parts where it has drained form. Thats why its best to leave the engine to idle for a minute or so before driving off.
Then best to keep below 2000 revs until engine temperature is reached. Can be noisier in winter.
Sure its nothing to worry about, tell us how things go.

Tbh the car hardly goes about 2k on a 90% of my trips... I know what you mean about thenlittle noise.. but the sounded like a moracca being swung round by my cams... It hasn't done it that bad since I first heard it even after parked up yday 19hr shift it sounded fine... Starting to think I am going crazy

Obvs youve checked the oil level on flat ground?
All you can do is keep an ear out, and if it gets bad, whizz it in

Had a brief noise on start up 4 month ago, and told dealer when went in for first service, even took them a video of it (never happens when you want it to) and they said see what happens after an oil change. No need to go back as yet :-)

I thought an oil change as oil looks dark and well used.. but sales guy claims it had service before I picked it up so going to ring

i heard this this morrning and sh** my self but in inspection no low levels so alls well that ends well.

You can tell by the appearance of the oil on the dipstick if its good oil. cleaner the better
clear is best
