How much do you pay to insure your DS3.

I went to gocompare for a quote on the DS3 insurance. I was surprised at the quote I got.

I use all my NCD on my C4 and my wife only passed her test 18 month ago. So with a fairly new driver and with zero NCD and with 1000 miles business use and 6000 miles per year my quote was £328. Its all paid up waiting for the car to arrive tomorrow. :Joni:

BTW I also get RAC roadside, courtesy car and legal protection. only £300 excess. Sadly no new meerkat for her this time lol.

For my VTi 120 Red Edition I paid £197 via Admiral with OH as a named driver. I have 4 years NCD and a £0 excess.

When I had my C3 XTR about 8 years ago, my premium for fully comp was £150 (that was with 10 points). Cheapest insurance ive ever had. My C4 with OH on it costs me £230.


Oh and I've got 3 points on my license too lol

Thats not a bad price in this climate. My first insurance was £1200 classic car cover for a 24 year old just passed his test driving a MGB GT and living in Glasgow.

Mine was £340 with OH as named driver, I have 6 years no claims and £300 excess. If I'd waited a couple of weeks it would have been less because I'm now 25! I used compare the market and confused as well as going on companys own websites and that was the cheapest I could find

I think age and driving experience certainly makes a big difference. I was surprised how cheap my first DS3 was to insure.

4 Years no claims, 12,000 miles a year, Just short of £1,800 a year to insure fully comp :-(
