My Cabrio is delivered to dealer in two weeks. ABout 3-4 weeks earlier than predicted. I was just going let them keep it until Sept 1st for 64 reg but maybe I should just say stuff that and take it as 14 plate? Does it it really make a difference for 6 months to toby about in a new registered car? Might catch the sun before it goes for the rest of the year.

If it was me I'd just have it now, no point waiting if it's here

Plus more chance of it getting damaged if its just parked up for weeks at dealers.

I agree. Get it, get in it, get the top down, get it in gear and drive!

Ours was delivered on July 23rd 2010 - we didn't bother waiting for an 11 plate, partly because we were pig sick of the Alfa 147 we traded in & wanted to get rid of the POS. I don't think people place as much importance on the year shown on the number plate nowadays as they did when it was the letter that changed.

its all down to patience really. as if u got to have right now this miniute then go for the 14 plate if ya not really in a hurry and can wait for the 64 plate then get onto ya dealer they might be able to put a nice 1 on for you or might find 1 with your initials in. but the decision is yours

I thought these days the values were decided less on the plates number and more on when it was registered ? I agree with DaveB, plus I'd rather use the Cabrio whilst the weather was nice than wait until September !
