  • Ds3 mirrors

hi,just recently the off side mirror on my ds3 has started to get loose,i took off the door panel, disconnected the wiring and was told i had to take out the speaker to get to the bolt and tighten it up but i found the bolt was tight but the mirror is still loose so im now wondering if i have to take out the bolt and completely take the mirror off and get inside the chrome section as im assuming this is where the problem is,by the way my citroen dealer told me this is not covered by the warranty but it is very expensive to have done by a citroen dealer.as anybody else had this problem, thanks, dave

Had this a few weeks back. Passenger side door mirror was loose and even rubbing some paint off the door because of the movement.

Have a look at the thread made at the time ..... http://www.ds3club.co.uk/showthread....-Housing-Loose

    Cheers

The long 13mm bolt is screwed into the door mirror housing and then held in place by the 13mm nut you can see from inside the door panel. The nut might be tight but its the bolt going into the actual door mirror housing that will be loose.

I ended up unscrewing the whole thing and starting again. Take the whole bolt out so the door mirror is off the door completely. Then screw the bolt into the door mirror housing. Its this part that slackens off and makes the door mirror loose. Make sure its nice and tight and then put the door mirror back onto the door passing the bolt back though the hole. You can then put the nut back on from inside the door and tighten this up using a deep 13mm socket.

Don't take the flasher unit out as it doesn't gain you any access to the holding bolt.

        Hope that helps.

Forums that have some fields to get data according to the plan to put on it this was good to prescribed formats. Having access to the parts that were at http://teacherhabits.com/5-effective...of-psychology/ with the formation of acts this has to put data or need to et fields this was good to read on it.
