BlueHDi 100 Engine

Hi, does anyone know more details about the release of the BlueHDi 100 diesel engine. Was trying to configure a model on the Citroen website but it only shows the 90 or 110 engine.

All I know about the BlueHDi system is that it's meant to be a cleaner emission exhaust system; I don't know if the engine it's self is actually different?

Anyone know when the BlueHDI 100 will be available? It's configurable on citroen.co.uk, and carbuyer.co.uk has listed it since May 1 2015, but dealers seem to know little about it. Performance to fuel-economy ratio is excellent.

It's available now for order as of the 1st of May.

The drive of the BlueHDi 100 will be very similar to the eHDi 90 but the emission level is much more reduced. Expect this engine to average around 50/55 mpg.

Thanks for the quick response. Good news. Any idea whether this will be branded DS rather than Citroen? Ie without chevrons?

The car will be yes, including that god awful tacky cheap nasty badge slapped on the boot lid.....!
