Yesterday,i tried to get to the back seats of my car from the drivers side (left side because I live in Greece) and the thing that reclines the seat and makes it move freely didnt work..it just moved without doing what it should..does anyone know how these thing works?can i fix it myself or should i just take it to the dealers and claim warranty issue?

No,not really..the adjuster next to the headrest doesnt work..does anyone know how I can fix it?DS3's are like pizza..they're good even when they're bad..Comment

If it doesn't work at all, take it back to the dealer. It's a function of the car.Comment

Mine is the same , the recliner lever does not move its jammed and when I use the lever to let someone into the back, I have to really lift it high and I can hear like a ratchet catching noise as the seat back moves.Comment

The seat adjust mechanism does seem overly complicated, my drivers seats broken, never ever had problems with seats
before, the seats in my wife's fiesta seem perfectly easy to adjust and have no issues, I think Citroen need to sort this, the seats are obviously an issue. My neighbour who is a driving instructor has a new DS3 and his seat is playing up.Comment
