DS3 1.2vti engine recall

Anyone know anything about this? I've just put my lease car 1.2vti DSign DS3 in for it's 25k service, they said they were going to do an engine check due to a recall notice, and just had a call to say they are going to have to replace the whole engine? Something vague about a belt/pulley with insufficient movement/play?

I've got the 1.2, I'm registered on the recall site and there are no recalls. I haven't had any problems with the engine either.
Built June/July 2013.

There has been a couple of 1.2 VTi engines replaced due to an issue with pulleys, as far as Citroen is concerned it is better to replace the engine rather then mess about.

£4k or so for a 1.2vti engine? at a guess

I've certainly had no trouble with it, but if it could breakdown with no notice or symptoms I guess it's better they replace it. I got the car in May 13, not sure of the build date.
