Looking to purchase an 11 plate 1.6 eHDI airdream style plus over the next few weeks

What is a realistic MPG to expect ? My daily commute is around 35/40 miles each way mostly on single track roads doing around 60mph

Loads of threads on here about MPG use the Search box to get more answers.

Probably around 60-65mpg if you're light on the pedal

Between 42-65mpg seems to be standard (depending on driving style and route) but normally the top end 55+

I only get 60+ on motorways normally around town/home I get 55-58 mpg these days...

As said above your driving style will make the most difference

How long is a piece of string....?

You should be looking at somewhere between 45-55 MPG on a HDi 90 diesel but that said I have sen folks get less and folks get more, it all comes down to driving style, car and a whole host of other factors.

56 mpg teaching learner drivers with an aero headboard on.
Averaging 21mph as we get some decent stretches of A road to drive on.

Our 115Airdream has always averaged 56mpg +/- 1 mpg. The readout generally reads 1mpg Under actual, so it's pretty accurate.

City driving and motorway driving at around 70mpg both give the same result.

I went from the 90bhp to the 115bhp diesel and actually noticed an increase of about 5mpg! I do however do a lot of motorway miles, I guess the 6th gear really does help!

Back to your question, averaged 52mpg in my 90bhp but that was with a daily commute into London down the M4 car park!
