    DS to become own brand, separate from Citroen.

    This has been hinted at for quite some time, but PSA boss Carlos Tavares has finally confirmed that from next year, DS will be a separate brand with no Citroen branding. Aims to increase the range in Europe from 3 to 6 models as well.

    I remember reading about this a while back - although i read that citroen were to stop making standard cars and continue on with the DS brand

      because you see so many ds4 and ds5's on the road?

        I don't see many Lexus cars on the road, but they have a 6 car model range. PSA think they can do the same as Toyota did with Lexus, and make the money on increased unit cost with the DS range. Whether this will work? Who knows.

                          Not a purchase for me either. That picture shows a 4/5 door DS3 and why would they need the grille badge and the bonnet badge?
