110BHP or 115BHP?

Hi Guys,

This is only my 2nd or 3rd post (1st in newbie thread)

I have just taken delivery of my 2014 Citroen DS3 1.6 e-HDi 115 Airdream DSport Plus 3dr diesel hatchback and yes before you ask I'll 100% get some pics posted very soon (I can't wait)

All I wanted to ask is is the car 110bhp or 115bhp as I thought as from 2013 they changed from 110bhp to 115bhp

My V5 just says 1560cc but in my vehicle invoice it says DS3 e-HDi 110 Airdream manual also when I call my insurance to change it over to the new car the reregistration details I gave over the phone came back as a DS3 e-HDi 110 Airdream manual?

Now I'm confused, hopefully somebody can shed a little light on this for me.

A brand new one would be a E-Hdi 115. Unless they sold you a old 110 that has been sitting around on some lot collecting dust. Need to get that paperwork straightened out.

The cars Registration Date is 17/07/2014, I'll wait until I get the full V5 back, do you know if the full V5 gives more details on the BHP?

it's only 5bhp.... you would be well peed if you got a 90ehdi and paid for a 115bhp......

My 110 showed 114 when put on the rollers before then map so ...........................................

Either way I think both the 110 & the 115 actually produce nearer 120bhp :-)

It looks like the insurance always come up with 110bhp as I got a few random number plates of autotrader and put them in go compare, all 115bhp and every one came up as 110bhp but the new blue 120bhp came up as correct.

I'd ring your insurer and tell them it's a 115 as suggested above, that way if the worst ever happened there would be no dispute on the claim

Mine is a 110 but I have used a £1 mod to gain the extra 5bhp
