Upgraded hifi

Just been reading the 2013 brochure which say the Dsport has the upgraded hifi system with additional speaker and subwoofer. What do other dsport owners have?

I believe if you have the 2014 model car with the xenon headlights, then the upgraded hifi system is an option, and only standard on the Dsport plus.
This is the 2014 brochure, see page 35 then scroll to the bottom for Plus features.

I've got a 2013 Dsport and the Hifi system you speak of is standard on that model

I have a dsport and it has the upgraded hifi and the dealer didn't know it has a subwoofer in the boot

Yeah, saw the latest brochure. Ordered from the older spec brochure so expected the hifi but by time it was built got the latest spec. Benefit from the lights etc but miss out on the hifi. Might give the dealer a call n see what they say

Does the hifi spec still include the additional speaker on the top of the dash ? If so, not sure if that's retro fittable ?

On the latest DSport the Hi-Fi is only available as part of the sat-nav upgrade, not sure way Citroen have done like that.

In theory you could add the bits and bobs need onto a MY30 DSport.

There maybe a couple of the previous version DSports within the network, may be an option?

Happy with what I've got, to be fair I'd rather the new lights folding mirrors etc that I wasn't expecting than extra speakers

Looking to source an oem sub and possibly central speaker, does anyone know if I should be able to plug them straight in? Could one of you kind people post a photo of the sub in situ so I can see how it goes in and where the wires are

Keep in mind that you will need a different boot sidewall if you put the oem subwoofer in.

Can be retro fitted chris I've done it !!!! Is a pain to do though

I was pretty sure i will get upgrated hifi as i have ordered dsport, i was wrong shame nobody from citroen didnt mention about the changes, i was really looking forward to it!
