Cycle carrier

I'm looking for a rear mounted cycle carrier for a 29er mountain bike, been looking at the saris bones solo &
The saris bones 2 bike carrier ,has anyone used one on there ds3 if so whats the verdict on it ???

You could check out the similar threads at the bottom of this page and see if any of the options being discussed are helpful ? At least one mentioned the Saris 3 carrier

I spent weeks searching for a bike rack that would fit the DS3, according to saris only the bones solo fits the DS3, the main issue being the boot lip is so small the racks cannot sit on it.

I finally found this one:

Once you get used to putting it on and off its relatively quick. and if your really careful it wont harm your paintwork, its as solid as a rock on the back of the car, I can just put it on and forget about it.

FYI when my 29'er is on there, I usually take the front wheel off and stick it in the boot else the bike is wider than the car, saves me worrying about it!
