ds3r badge query?

hi guys, well i had my wifes car delivered on friday, so we gave it a run to north wales for the weekend,
it ran well, and my wife loved it, so looks like we are keeping it,
i will post some photos soon, but.... on the back of the car it says DS3r...?
why the R?

That's the badge that comes on the Racing editions. If it's not a Racing then someone has stuck one on.

hmmmm...thats a bit odd then!!, the original owner was an ex motorbility driver who was called derek!!..
so with a name like that i am guessing he must have been over 50 odd, so i wouldn't have thought he would have done that!!.
whats the differance with a racing model, just a faster engine?

About 50 bhp originally compared to the THPs !! If you google them you will see they originally came in two colours, black with orange roof and white with grey roof and lots of carbon fibre trim.
