Just about to buy my wife a yellow 1.6 THP 2010. 17k full service history.

Any tips on what to look for ? I know it's had the timing chain tensioner changed recently.

So hi to all you ds3 owners and thanks for any tips. Gary

Going uphill, 3rd gear, low revs then floor it. See how the engine handles
Oil leaks in the engine bay area?

Oh- and check the centre caps of the wheels for corrosion :-)

And look what the engine is doing on idle speed (oscillates the revs?, irregular engine running? [Idle Revs should be around 700-800 rpm]) if yes, the engine have build up Carbon at the Valves (and that is tricky to repair)
But a very good decision to buy a DS3!

Thanks for all the replies, we pick up the car tomorrow morning. I'm a Ford man myself but I'm sure the wife will enjoy her ds3. Great looking cars.

Is there any companies that do remaps about I can't seem to find any.

                        Mapper

There are a few around claiming to get the best out of the DS3 for a remap. The provider we use on here is SPTuning based in Leicestershire. Most travel a bit to visit Jamie, and never leave disappointed. Recommended and you will love it on your THP.

The THP 2010 model can be remapped via the ECU port next to the glove compartment, which gives you more choice
Later models can only be mapped by removing the ECU and reconfiguring on a work bench
