Wait for this one then Biggie, hope you are sitting down...

I thought they were only on the front tyres...

              AND

I'm guessing as I want to paint my callipers. It would be a good idea to get new ones, considering how my current ones look (they surely aren't supposed to look like that?)

I just don't remember seeing any that looked like mine, that's all.

just corrosion it's harmless, give them a good wire brushing, clean and paint and you will be stylin. No need for new ones

Incase you don't know this is called a paint brush, it is used for the application of paint. Thought I'd let you know as you don't know what a caliper is

Get a price for new calipers - that will change your mind!

Those don't look bad - I've seen much worse, but then I know where to look!

Maybe you're not the right person to be doing anything around brakes?

Just out of interest mate, and don't answer this if it's going to make you look even more of a spanner (), but what did you think you were going to be painting when you said in the past you wanted to paint your callipers? Where did you think they were?

                              Exactly what's in the picture.

I thought there were only on the front, not on the back as well. That's why I was curious, as to them being on my back tyres and looking the way they did.
I don't recall seeing any calipers in my past, looking like that. So I wasn't sure if and what it was.

*thinks out aloud* I'm glad people have enjoyed this topic. Just remember, at one point none of you knew what they were either.
