  • Tick noise under glovebox when braking

Hi everyone, When I touch the brake pedal, I hear a single tick / Click type noise coming from under the glove box, I had never noticed this until Monday so took it to Citroen, where they instantly told me that's normal, as that's where the brake master cylinder (if I remember correctly) is, but I have never heard this before?! And now I have heard it, it doesn't sound unnoticeable!

Can anyone else reassure me that this is in fact normal and that I must have just been deaf to it before, I think this must be one of those noises that cannot be unheard

    Cheers, Sam

The brake light switch is located on that side, so that's probably what you're hearing.
