  • Purchase after lease

Decided to buy my DS3, as I am very happy with it.

Paid roughly what the market price was (62 reg £10,600, 14k miles - diesel 1.6 90 dstyle+), might have been a little less...However, as I badly kerbed the left bellone, and lightly kerbed the right one... I'd have to factor that in too on what I'd be charged.

My decision was made to get the DS3 (Same exact model)... but after factoring in, knowing how I'd drove the car etc.. It was fairly easy. Similar cars were priced above £10,000... different choice of colours etc, but who knows how they were drove?

The only thing I need, is another 2 bellone alloys (All imperfections really) - couple of tiny dings on both doors from when someones opened their door on both sides and not told me, and a couple of chips!

Not sure how much all that would set me back! Also looking to buy some rimblades or something similar. Cherry Red/White Roof, so probably white ones. After a while, I may be persuaded to chip the ECU as well, as I've seen a couple of threads on here with regards to that!

    Sounds good!

Alloys - you might find a good set on ebay for a good price! White or black?

Chips - I'd recommend Chipex- Here

Black yeah. A while back, I'd seen a brand new bellone with the tyre they typically come with. Was like £180 so figured that was cheap! Hindsight, I wish I'd bought it. as I'd have only 1 tyre to buy as the right alloy is ok to be honest

That's what Im thinking of doing with mine. I'll pick some new ones up around March and bellones with the tyres into storage.

Bought a set of 16inch Ashera's of Fleabay and had my winter tyres from my previous car fitted on them. Not put them on the car yet though, will wait and see if the weather looks like it will stay at 7C or below.

What lease was it? As far as I'm aware there is no option to purchase the car at the end of my lease (2 year business lease)?

My lease was with national vehicle contracts. Cost me about 1200 upfront then £155 a month over 2 year.

I'm based near Durham if that's any help.
