does the DS3 have traction control?

just had a chat with my local Citroen, and they are saying it doesn't have traction control, but ESP, i thought it was one and the same, is it not?

Electronic stability control (ESC), also referred to as electronic stability program (ESP) or dynamic stability control (DSC), is a computerized technology [1][2] that improves a vehicle's stability by detecting and reducing loss of traction (skidding).[3] When ESC detects loss of steering control, it automatically applies the brakes to help "steer" the vehicle where the driver intends to go. Braking is automatically applied to wheels individually, such as the outer front wheel to counter oversteer or the inner rear wheel to counter understeer. Traction control works by applying individual wheel braking and throttle to keep traction while accelerating but, unlike the ESC, it is not designed to aid in steering.

No that's called a remap from SP Tuning

True, a remap is more fun,but requires the ESP to tame it at times.

Our other car a 3.2 v6 vectra estate. I have seen the traction control light flicker on in third gear in the wet...

My new THP165 doesn't have a light on the display when the ESP is turned off. It does on the button but not by the speedo. Anyone else's the same? My old THP150 showed the light.

I can get the light to flash on mine in second gear when it's wet ed taylor
