  • Service at Durham - Problems after a week

Had me 1.6 hdi diesel serviced last friday. 15k miles on the clock, had the major manufacturers service.

This morning, I drove 4 miles, and It wouldn't go above 70. It was chugging. Any ideas what that is? It reminded me of my 306 limp mode. Although, it got to 60 fairly quickly but it hit a wall.

    Cheers!

    Was the diesel filter replaced?
If so, check for any leaks, when u change filter, u move the "drain-pin" over from the old one, and iīts fitted anti clockwise on the filtercover, if itīs loose or leaking the engine doesent run smooth.
Just a tip, since i recently replaced the filter on mine ant the o-ring at the bottom of this drain-pin hade a slight leak.

They checked it out. There is a fault code there.

        P2562.

        - Fixed geometry turbo
-turbo position signal. Position too far from the reference value. Not enough turbocharging.
        -Intermittent.

It's only 2 years old, so figure whatever is wrong it would be covered by warranty.
