  • Water / Snow damaged Interior

    Afternoon .

Not sure where to post this so feel free to move if needed.

Noticed today that the leather interior door panels have become stained and water damaged after the recent snowfall in Sheffield. Managed to get stuck on a rather large hill and had to get a push from several blokes before helping them myself. But of cause my Windows were down allowing water to come in and it's marked the sides of the leather seats too, like light drip effect stains.

I've got leather shampoo which will sort the seats I'd imagine, but the door itself looks a reyt state.

Any products recommended? I thought a wet cloth would work but it hasn't made a difference.

    Cheers lads & lasses

I would try a diluted 1:1 solution of something like CarPro PERL (plastics, engine, rubber and leather) on a mf cloth.

I found the Autoglym products are very good for leather. First clean with their leather cleaner http://www.autoglym.com/products/pro...eather-cleaner and then apply Leather Care Balm http://www.autoglym.com/products/pro...ther-care-balm

If you want to protect the interior for the future then get hold of a bottle of there Lifeshine interior protection it comes as part of the Lifeshine kit http://www.lifeshine.com/upholstery.asp However you can buy any of the 3 process products individually on eBay for around £5 and although you do not get the lifetime guarantee you do get the protection and it works very well
