Got the mats full tank free years tax :cool: ,went to pick it up and the front mats were missing ,so got a new full set and have two spare rears sitting in the boot.

My new had mats as I added them as an option.

My 2nd that was a showroom car didn't have mats

Mine came with mats but very used with holes in them, definitely not new.
I've got to buy some new ones because the drivers one has a hole right where my foot sits and I keep getting my heel caught. I've had to duct tape it for now! (duct tape really does fix everything!)

Never actually paid for mats myself. Just miffed if they should be there.

Salesman rang me with question about my p/ex so asked him about it. Shamefully admitted he'd 'forgotten' and there was a set for me under his desk if I'd like to come in. Doesn't explain the half set I gave though.

No harm done and nice to keep the dealer on his toes.

I've never had any mats from Citroen Birmingham, had 3 cars from them the c2 I had to buy them myself on the day, at the time they had a parts dept on site. The C3 the salesman laughed saying we don't do that anymore i remember asking him for my c2 keys his face was a picture asked me why, I told him your not giving me mats im not giving you mine!! and the ds3 I was told they were out of stock, yet I got a set on the way home from there parts dept a mile up the road.

Pugeot on the other hand I had a 106 (back in the day!) and a 206 both came with mats and a full tank of petrol, even got an alloy upgrade on the 206. Some car dealers have become very tight over the years, the only reason I go back to citroen Birmingham is because they have the car I wanted on the day.

Bought scond hand from Citroen dealer - no mats.

Bought the official citroen mats from a main dealer selling them on ebay. Cheaper than normal retail price. had them about 9 months - I reckon they'll need changing in another three

Both my DS3s came with the Citroen mats, I was in the dealership the other day dropping off my car and all the cars in the showroom had new mats in a bag in the boot....

Sounds like some dealers are being naughty, either that or mine (Tates Crawley) are v generous !

Didn't get mats with mine (second hand, purchased at a Citroen dealer) so just bought some on Amazon... black with pink piping to match the car. Obviously!

I've used up both of the drivers mats, when this one gets the heel hole I will look for a better (thicker) carpet set from the recommendations on here Black with red piping sounds good
