  • brakes sticking on when parked!!

    hi everyone,
i park my lovely ds3 cab in the garage every night, but every morning when i reverse it out, the brakes are stuck on!!..
none of my other cars ever did that, unless they were parked for over a week, not just overnight!!..
    anyone else have this problem?
    thanks

I have this issue aswell, DS3 Dstyle Plus 1.6 Vti

My only thought is heat of the brakes but then again why would it do it on this car and not my previous?

It's probably down to the friction material formulation. Pads with steel wool in them will be more prone to rusting to the discs than those without, or with a lower amount.

      Nothing to worry about.

I park mine in the garage overnight as well and if I leave the handbrake is on it happens as well as the moisture seems to band the pad to the disc. If you leave it in gear with the handbrake off it does not occur

Mine's always parked outside, and I only had this when it had been standing still for a couple of days. (but that doesn't happen very often..)

Apparently a common issue, mine does it all the time. Had a record 'Clunk' today - thought I'd hit something when I pulled away!

Same for me too. Mine does it after just one night outside. Usually when it's been a cold night.
