    The scratch has been reported and photo sent to transport company and I think some mobile repair may be the result. I would prefer grey aphrodites to compliment the roof but that is still to be resolved awaiting reply as to a resolution on Monday I hope. While I am on my query as to the performance of the car (155THP) is on the lower two gears it feels a bit laggy going from 1st to 2nd it seems to lag unless you put your foot to the floor is this normal?

      I've come from a 120vti to a 115 diesel so I'm not really sure - could it be the turbo needs to spool up before it kicks in to give that bit of oomph?

      Can't compare it to the 150 I used to drive becuase that was no where near standard.

        I have only done about 20 miles since I have had it so maybe if it is going to get a wheel change I will get dealer to check it out.

          What speed are you changing gear? 1st will nearly hit 30mph and 2nd is good until nearly 60mph (that's redlining it).

            You need an aftermarket dump valve, or if you don't fancy the noise (Like me) you need a Forge recirculation valve predominantly
            A remap will help

              I have been driving for over thirty years just normal style but as stated it definetly dips when you change from first to second and is annoying. Dont get me wrong once up to third and above it flies to the point that I dont feel much difference to my sons Renault Megane R26 with over 200bhp and plenty mods. This is a leased car so no modifications planned. I will give it a few days to see how it goes.

                Irrelevant unless all 30 years have been with a THP 1.6l turbo. As Beef asked what rpm do you shift at. Too soon and it will get below the power band and be a bit gutless.

                  Ok just had a wee jaunt and on checking rev counter never changed from first to second anywhere below 3.5 to 4 and still hit this dip. I will persevere for a while but will get it checked out if no improvement over next few weeks.

                    I'm pretty sure that you will have the newer, greener, THP 165 engine and this gear change thing is most likely just a characteristic of the car.

                      I thought the THP165 had stop and start which mine doesn't have.
