  • Parking dent

Despite annoying passengers with my careful selection of parking spaces, my DS3 now has it's first parking dent.
These things really p**s me off. Why do people open their doors against another car?!
If I'm getting out of a tight spot I always put my hand around the door to make sure there's no metal-to-metal contact.

It is a sad day :-(

Sorry to hear, people just don't care of others property.
Hade a neigbour in my garage who bought a brand new Golf, and he asked me how i dare to take my nice car for example to IKEA?
    I replied "i dont i take a taxi"
    - Hahaha, you are sick, he replied.
Two weeks later his brand new car was trashed by a reversing suv, at IKEA:s parking lot.

Mine is on the back panel near the shark fin. Lord knows how much that would take to fix.

Depends how big- they start off with suction pads, then drilling a tiny hole and pulling out etc etc

It's only about the size of a pea and quite shallow. I'm guessing they'd have to respray the entire panel?

Not at all. Last thing they wanna do. Some these "Dent magicians" work wonders
Maybe a very tiny dab of paint, or cellulose of the end of an artist brush

Couldnt even tell mine had been dented, and it was on the door crease, between a 5p and 10p in size

Hmm that's good to know! I'll have to research where I can get it done.
When I bought the car 18 months ago, brand new from my local Citroen dealership, I noticed a dent on the passenger door. They resprayed the entire door. Not an exact match either, slightly lighter than the factory colour.
                  I'm cursed by parking dents!
