She'd be quite happy with that although her current faves are an Audi TT (new shape) or an Evoque which are poles apart really

Looks like the long legs is staying for now, can't move it with sticky tape or vac not enough suck. Talking to a mate if the lights come out without the bumper being removed should make it easier but the bumper needs to come off? I might leave it and if I keep the car more than a few years upgrade the headlamps to the new xenons as its one mod I want or trade it back with a free bug!

The bumper would need to come off to remove the headlights. You also can't get into the actual light cluster without melting the adhesive in an oven that's securing the plastic over the top of it

That's my plan too, wait for the prices for the new headlights to drop dramatically.. some day... (Wishful thinking?)

I went to the jet wash on the way home, thought best to clean off the rubbish from the dealer and see what else is lurking, to be honest looks like the previous owner or citroen had it as a lease stock car, its got some scratches where someone has leaned on the roof with keys in hand, the mark is perfect match to the keyring and some motorway damage, other than that and the headlamp with the bug in has slight and im talking just little circles of condensation.

I always knew it wouldn't be perfect, I miss not having a new new car but then its boarderline insane to even buy a new car (in my mind). I look at the positives, the car is only 18 months old, looks great, drive is immense love it, its comfy and once the towbar is fitted will be the great mtb commute car. It will never be perfect as some other ejit has owned it before.
