  • Keyless Entry

    Hi guys,

I really like the idea of having a keyless entry and push to start button fitted on my car. I am in no way able to do this myself, does anyone know of company that can do this?

I have found loads in the US, but no one here :/

I think this would be a massive improvement :P

Gotta say me and the other half had 2 keyless entry cars and the only time I miss it is when I walk up to the boot with shopping bags in both hands otherwise it's entirely pointless, occasionally troublesome even when oem fit, prone to interference and can make the car easier to steal.

Guessing your local autosounds would be a good start if you wish to proceed, they don't just do stereos.

I'm not that bothered about keyless entry (although it's a cool feature), I do want that aircraft-style flip up switch from the Huracán though. Completely pointless but oh so cool

To me the name isn't right, "keyless" entry when you need to have the 'key' with you....

Last car had both. Keyless entry offers no benefits at all over "plipping" in my opinion and didn't work half the time. I like the Honda approach - key in ignition, press a button to start - over the keyless start, which didn't work most of the time - so you end up putting the keys in a slot to start or "plipping" to open doors.

Bit of a traditionalist to be honest and the DS3 set up is fine for me.

Yeah, a guy a work has a type R which you put the key in then press the button! I mentioned this, and now he wants a pop-up hood too for his button!

I'll settle for a Huracán and not bother with all the pesky wiring for a keyless system on the DS3
