Just picked it up, fancy a remap

    Had my remap for 50,000+ miles (from my poor memory!) so far out of a total of nearly 80,000!
    Car runs better with a remap, the map suits the characteristics of the engine better than a standard (good for all) map.

      That's good news Jimbob, what about having to have the remap done again if the battery is removed/replaced/goes flat? Is this true of not?

        As far as I know you only have to have the remap put on again if Citroen flash the ECU with an update. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will confirm.

          The remap is on the ECU and therefore is not wiped by the battery being disconnected, if it were the original Citroen map would be lost for the same reasons

          I think of it like a PC Hard drive, you can disconnect the power to your PC and not lose the written contents of your HDD
