Next ds3 model, what would you like?

Don't get me wrong, I love my little ds3 its a great little car, but if you could ask citroen or DS whoever has the design blueprints, what would you like to see in the next model? a sort of wish list of everything you would like?

1. I really miss the panoramic windscreen, I know not everyone likes it but it was great on the c3 loads of light my ds3 feels dark inside after having a c3, not on every model just one model range would be enough.

2. A matt finish on the dash, as lovely as the gloss is scratched to buggery!!

3. A retractable towbar as standard, seeing as the rules have changed its expensive to fit a after market one.

That's it from me for now, anyone else?

Not sure a panoramic windscreen is necessary, however teaming a black dash, with black seats, black door cards, black carpet and a black headlining in my OHs cars case is always going to feel dark!

My list would be:

1)Repositioned or additional interior light.
Proper fuel door (a metal one that locks inside the the car).
2)Two remote keys, don't care if they are both flick keys but I'd like a lollipop key with buttons on it at the least for the second key.
3)A glovebox and door pocket would be nice this time around, rather than toothpick storage.
4)More supportive seats.
5)Move the stereo to somewhere more visible, or move it's control stalk buttons onto the steering wheel, and move the cruise while your there.
6) Finally move the handbrake or the centre armrest, it is possible to have both without them fouling each other.

2 & 4, sounds like you just need to buy a DSport instead

I agree with 3 though, bit lazy of Citroen to not relocate the fuse box and give us a proper glove box.

Surprised no one's said it before ...actual cup holders when you have the arm rest, and DRL's on all the time ..

My wishes (some of them also listed above):

1) Proper cup holders. Lots of them. Perhaps like on a modern Hilux or X-trail?

2) Decent sized glovebox for the RHD variant. I know it's because of the way the brake pedal connects to the booster, but the firewall could still be re-shaped to move the brake booster/servo further forward to make room for an actual glovebox. The BSI/cabin fusebox could also be rotated or
re-positioned to gain more glovebox space. I'd love to be able to store the instruction manual/service log book in the glovebox.

3) Separation of interior light from map lights. Possibly mount map lights close to the top of the windscreen and leave the main interior light where it is.

4) Towbar mount points pre-installed from factory, factored properly into the original chassis design, rather than sold as an add-on.

5) A panoramic windscreen, or a panoramic sunroof.

6) As mentioned above, DRLs on ALL the time. Proton (among other companies) managed to have their DRLs on all the time, and dim down with headlights on. So I'd love to see something like this on newer models.

7) A long term solution to the carbon deposit problem, maybe borrow from toyota design, and put in a secondary set of injectors to keep the intake valves clean? Seems to work, though definitely patented.

Bigger base box, at least 12"
Smoother gearbox, at least first gear.
Front parking sensors.
Ground lights in the wing mirrors.
Digital instrument cluster with the possibility to choose color.
Lowered chassi as standard.
Putting the OBD2-contact elsewhere so u don´t have to breake the panel every time ( moved mine )
A different socket for the fog bulbs, i can´t find led H16 anywhere.
Possibility to choose time of the windscreen wipers when in that mode.
Painted brake calipers.
Electric engine heater as standard on the diesel.

Yes but then we would have to insure my 23yr old other half on a 155bhp car, which would also scare the **** out of her (her last and only car had 80bhp she commented the 1.6 90bhp felt fast). Also by the time you've painted it purple and added a spare wheel the dstyle plus with a diesel is a 17k car, surely 2 remote fobs is not unreasonable by the time you get to that amount of money. That and why can't you get a decent seat in a lower spec car, can still be made out of the same stuff, just you know shape it properly.

Only 4 things:
-A solution for all of the well known Thp problems (so get an entire new engine probably :-))
-More power. You can always use more power
-No new DS style front
-Make the passenger window go up and down with one click of the button. This really should have been there from the start Citroën, why does the C3 have this, but not the DS3?!

Mine would be:
Cupholders
Two boot lights - its annoying if I have lots of club things in there and it covers up one side inc the light
Foot rest plate as standard.
Updated Radio Display that isn't in every Citroen and Peugeot since about 1990

1) Touch screen. Android M would be nice.
2) Better seats. My friends Golf and Megane have more supportive seats.
3) Auto wipers with sensitivity adjustment.
4) Cupholders
5) Armrest / handbrake reposition.
6) Better 5 speed gearbox. Short throw/ratio, no notches and no problems going into 1st when stationary.
7) Ceiling lighting towards the front
8) Windscreen washers that don't obscure vision
9) Low fuel warnings that don't make you jump out of your skin
10) No interior trim creaks, squeaks and rattles
11) An actual glovebox

4 - Better glove box - so the manual actually fits.
5 - Deeper door pockets
6 - 6 speed manual gearboxes on all engine types (my 90 ehdi feels like it needs a 6th gear at 70mph)
7 - Better sound proofing
8 - Dsport spoiler and Dsport exhaust available on all trim levels - why can't Dstyle's look cool too?
9 - Ceiling lights in the rear of the cabin (its dark back there, my passengers complain)
10- Full size spare wheel as standard - not some foam rubbish or donut wheel.
