Leaving DS3Club for pastures new .....

Not been on here for a while , but in the past this forum has helped me out with my DS3 and assisted in my enjoyment of this fantastic little car....

The time has come however to move on to pastures new .....Its been 3yrs since I bought my DS3 and in that time life has changed a lot....including my career....so I decided in November of last year to purchase this ...>>>>

Gotta say the DS3 has been a great car and I enjoyed every second of owning it (apart from the engine issue bit, which I am sure you long term members remember)

Yes S3 in Pearl Misano Red ...300BHP !!! Cant wait to get my hands on it ......Thank you and I will keep the DS3CLUB in my favourites bar and check in from time to time .....you never know I might come back if they bring out a better DS3 Racing.

I will post my collection day pics once I get bored of driving the beast !!!

Yeah they're quite a machine, take it steady while you get used to the power though. A guy at work has one in blue and has already crashed it twice. Second time wasn't his fault though (or so he says).

I have already started calming my driving down in the DS3 in training for the S3. One of the things that attracted me to the S3 was the fact it can be driven calmly very easily ...but then if you want to go hell for leather it also does this (Extremely well). I consider myself a fairly sensible driver and only have fun when its safe to do so.

I hope your friend was OK after his crashes ;-)

Thanks ....Its the RS3 that's due to be released soon. They have already released spec and pictures. Its 67bhp more than the S3 and a more aggressive bodykit ....and I expect a much much MUCH higher price tag ....

My brother in law has one on order since last September
He hasn't divulged how much, but in excess of £50k I think

Yeah he's fine, luckily only his pride (and the car) was dented. He reversed into a fence at work (around £2k damage to the car) and the other day went into the back of someone because they slammed the brakes on right in front of him. Not heard the final figure for that yet but I imagine it will be high.

Might have been a crash for cash scam? I am thinking of getting a dashcam for mine as I am paranoid about the attention it will attract. I have read people seem to be more aggressive towards you in a car like this...? Might see how I get on for the first month or so before going all paranoid HaHa

I think once you add all the gadgets it will be near to £50K ......I imagine the base model will be £40K standard.
