So today I was driving my ds3 155thp 2014.. As I accelerated I had a real loss in power between 2-3000 revs.. I,v read about the older 150bhp ds,s having a similar prob but never came across a definitive answer to the problem, any1 had the same problem in a 155thp? Seems like the turbo but it's only a year old and dosnt get driven hard, surely the turbos arnt that poor in quality.. Possibly the air flow? Thanks in advance for any replies they are greatly appreciated, I just don't want to be told bullshit at the dealership..

At a guess your on the right track, you need to see if the Turbo is kicking in, cos if it isn't then that feels like a power loss (Ive had that)Torque pro app on an Android phone works well
Could be a few other things too- best just take it back under warranty
Doubt its carbonned up inlet valves, depending on how many miles you've done (20k?) and that's more of a stutter, than power loss
Timing? (Chain slack or tensioner) air filter clogged as you said. Temperature reading?
Standard- check oil and water before you take it in. THPs benefit from oil to the MAX mark
Ed- when my Turbo went awol for couple days, it was just the electrical connector on top of it. Couple presses on it, and all came backLast edited by Chris_Blue; 14-02-2015, 17:07.sigpicJog on Noddy

Cheers for the reply Chris, It happened again and the engine management light came on, the car displayed a message saying, "engine fault repair needed". Drove it home parked it overnight, came out the next morning and it drove perfectly, engine management light hasn't came on since either.. Never had a problem till it went in for a service, since then it's had a few, going to the dealership 2moro but after doing a bit more reading (ds3 club has pretty much got all u need to know it's just finding it) I'm thinking its turbo related sounds similar to eds, I'm curious wether his displayed the same msg.. Thanks again.
