    Hi all

Happened to me too ! I ordered some spare from Aidan at Partsworld when he was doing that job.

The next issue is refitting them without dropping it again ! I removed the plastic trim that runs inside the car in the footwell (in line with the door) and then pulled the carpet free from the top edge of the footwell back until I could get my hand far enough under the floor. I then clicked the two piece together as tight as I could.

The problem with this appears to be that once they've fallen through the carpet hole is slightly too big for the fixing and will do it again I asked my dealer about it on a service and they said the carpet would need to be replaced !!!! I think it was around £700ish as well.....

Since then I've put up with the fixing being attached to the mat and just poking the bottom part (that's supposed to be under the carpet) back through the hole when I hoover the car. It holds for a week or so but it isn't a long term fix

Your local Citroen dealer will also stock these parts

What are you people doing to your poor car mats?

I've had 2 DS3s, nearly 24k in the first and 8k in my current one and never had an issue with the mats or fasteners.

It's just down to a rubbish design. What the big hole under the fixing in the carpet! Storage!

Well they could spend so much time on development and use only the best materials but then it would cost as much as a Bently. But that is not going to happen because no one would buy it.

                  Yep that's them !

I do have to agree that it's an odd design with a large void under the carpet where the fastenings attach....

Cheers, I've got one installed it but the hole in the carpet is to big so I've had to just clip it to the mat. Not the best but hey ho.
