    Squeely belt*
They clipped that back on. Yeh glove box was more or less just resting in its hole. No screws holding it in so used to rattle like fuck. They put screws in that on the fuse compartmen. Why would they be missing for a Start. It judders when cruising. Normally around 1500 rpm

      Change down?

From my experience 1500rpm is the worst possible cruising speed as it conincides (on my car at least) with the turbo kicking in and you can get a situation where the turbo kicks in and out and appears to make a juddering. if you hold it on this edge.

Since 2010. Doesn't matter how old it is.. all cars will have faults, rattles and problems. Unfortunately some more than others. How long have you had this DS3? Is it Citroen used approved?

I was just wondering what happened in those minutes; after all the 2 posts were going in different directions from want power to don't want car.

This is tripe. You are STILL convinced that your driving school car has been used as a rally car by the sounds of it. No matter HOW many times we have told you that as a source of income, it WILL have been looked after. Please I implore that you find a car with the same engine and mileage and tell me if it drives differently. I'm really keen to fine out what the difference will be between a car you know the history off vs a car that could have been owned by a 17yro who took it to McDonalds at the weekend, did burn outs in the car park and smashed it off the line at any given opportunity......... But you just don't know that. All you know is it was maintained, looked after and driven no more than 70mph in the correct gear in the right conditions. Most crazy thing your DS3 has ever done in its life is go around a corner backwards. Everyone loves a reverse around the corner manouvre.

You need to get over this Driving School Car drama. Unless you are trolling us, then bravo.

The Side Skirt hanging off isn't a feature, so this means it needs fixing, your car isn't new - so this isn't a fault from the manufacturer. Its an easy fix and something that possibly any owner may face in time. Running repairs DO happen on cars that aren't new. Irrespective of age.

The Exhaust bracket is common, mine needed it re welding after 2 years, this was done FOC under warranty. If your car is 2 years old it has warranty surely? Take it the a CUK garage am

Yes they have, about 5 years now. Bot none come out of the factory with faults.

Yes, things my squeak, rattle etc from new, but with something made from plastic and metal, held together with fixings it will happen.

Your car is 2 years old, therefore it has been driven for two years. It has been through things and things have been worn.

Did you inspect the car before you bought it?

Do these models even have any belt driven parts?

Diesels have belts (cambelt), THP's have a chain.

The alternator & the air conditioning compressor are driven by the auxiliary drive belt.

Don't forget the water pump. While it does not run off the belt like a normal accessory itself the pump drive wheel does contact the back side of the belt.
