      Welcome!

Advice would be to check it over - if you haven't already You're paying a fair amount and you want it to your standards!

My 115 is badass in the snow, its just the other drivers you need to worry about!

I will indeed I'm like a kid on Christmas!! I'm getting it from Arnold Clark my local dealership Wednesday, They said they have checked it over and its perfectly fine. What bits should I check on it? I had a test drive and it seemed perfectly fine, only done 27,000 miles and ive taken out the warranty packages they offer so I'm hoping everything should be ok with it! x

Can check the exhaust bracket at the back as this is prone to rusting.

Thanks for that advice.. I've been doing a little bit of research, this seems like a bit of a common problem with them. Apart from that they seem like a great car!! I've had terrible luck in the past with cars,
but then again never really paid that much for my previous cars. Wanted to save up and treat myself which is what I've done!!
I'm a bit of a learner when it comes to knowing about cars but I'm hoping that by joining this forum I can educate myself and of course make new friends!!

                Welcome to the club!

Have a check around the center caps on the wheels to see if there's any corrosion, as that's another common problem with them. I'm sure you'll love it though!

When I had a brief look around the car the only thing I really noticed was one of the back break discs had a bit of rust on it..is this anything to worry about? And yes its like luxury compared to anything I've had before, no more waiting 10 minutes for my window screen to defrost and driving round freezing cold because the heaters in my old car didn't work properly!! :-) x

Surface rust is normal on brake discs, it happens when it's been raining or the car has been washed and it's usually nothing to worry about . Once you've driven it the first time check them again and it should be gone. You might notice a slight grinding noise for the first couple of minutes or so as it's worn off as well. As long as the surface of the disc isn't damaged then that's probably all it is, but it would be worth just checking that they aren't scored or pitted.

More than likely just superficial and should wear away with a bit of use. Ask your dealer before signing anything to confirm he's happy with them too though

                      What colours is it?
